Job Description

Job Title: Lamination Technician

Department: Lamination

Reports To: Department Supervisor

FLSA Status: Hourly

Summary: Applies fiberglass and resin to gel coated molds by performing the following duties

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Move parts into position into the Lamination Department.

Prep parts in accordance with Cobalt standards.

Select appropriate fiberglass material according to part model. Roll out laminate eliminating air bubbles

using specific hand tools, rollers, etc.

Trim excess material from mold using cutting tool.

Mix catalyst into resin using proper handling procedures.

Cut fiberglass mat from spool as needed using scissors.

Use mill gage to accurately determine material thickness.

Other duties may be assigned.
