Job Description

Looking for someone to drive city vehicle to homes to enforce code compliance. They will serve violations to residents and will wear body cam, bullet proof vest, and carry a baton for safety precautions. Will investigate complaints, evaluate property for compliance, monitor and manage all open citations, maintain records, provide information to the public on ordinances, prepare court orders, testify in court cases, and other duties as needed. Must have the ability to understand and carry out instructions, enforce ordinances with firmness, tact, and impartiality with courtesy. Must have computer knowledge, HS Diploma or GED, ability to become certified within two years of employment and a valid DL.
