Job Description
A Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages while delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves handling guest transactions, maintaining a clean and inviting café space, and ensuring efficiency in drink preparation. Specifically, a Barista will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and quality standards.• Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and provide excellent customer service.• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment.• Handle guest transactions using the point-of-sale system and process payments accurately.• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including countertops, equipment, and seating areas.• Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to management.• Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures at all times.• Assist with opening and closing duties, including restocking, cleaning, and setting up the café for the next shift.• Provide recommendations to guests on menu items and accommodate special requests when possible.• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient service and a positive guest experience.• Perform other duties as assigned to support the Food & Beverage team

• Previous barista or food & beverage experience preferred.• Strong customer service and communication skills with a friendly, positive attitude.• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.• Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change.
