We are currently looking to hire a Food Scientist II based in Louisville, CO! The Food Scientist II is primarily responsible for updating batch sheets and manufacturing instructions for our plant based beverage products. The candidate must be able to represent R&I interests within the company during all projects and cross-functional interactions.In this role, you will be responsible for:- Manage a plant based beverage renovation project impacting a large number of active SKUs- Learn how to navigate our systems and processes to execute project on time- Accurately update batch sheets and manufacturing instructions- Review and approve graphics- Support pilot trials, create analytical reports, organize tasting sessions with R&I, marketing, and draw conclusions and recommendations for next steps- Participate in product test design, organize sample production and ensure product quality follow upAbout You:- Bachelor s degree or higher in Food Science or closely related field preferred.- 2 years of experience in product development or closely related field- Technical understanding on product formulation, industrial processes and manufacturing practices, preferred knowledge and experience working on dairy and/or fermented products.- Strong project management/organization skills- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Ability to work cross-functionally- Attention to detail- Proficient in product development systems and general computer skills- Comfortable and passionate about creating, rapid prototyping, development, and commercialization of ideas under tight timelines.
