Responsibilities
- Safely operate skid loaders and other heavy equipment in various asphalt milling and paving environments
- Assist with site preparation, including cleaning, grading, and moving materials as directed
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to effectively coordinate workflow and project needs
- Adhere to all company safety policies and regulations to maintain a safe job site
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a skid loader operator or similar role is preferred
- Strong understanding of safety practices and regulations in construction environments
- Ability to operate heavy machinery with precision and care
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Adaptability to work in various weather conditions and physical environments
- Willingness to take on new challenges and learn new skills
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Pass pre-employment drug screening.
