Legacy Community Federal Credit Union is looking for the right candidate to join our Collections team as a part time Collection Support Associate. Days would be Monday/Wednesday/Friday

We want to help our members Craft their Legacy by providing products and services to our members that help fulfill their financial needs. We have been loyal to the UAB and Birmingham community since 1955.

This is a full time position, with the standard hours being Monday/Wednesday/Friday 8:00-4:45.

For our Collection Support Associate position, we are looking for someone to support our Collection Department with administrative tasks.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Supports Courtesy Pay Administrator by contacting members by phone and mail regarding overdrawn accounts.
Review reports to ensure appropriate account locking.
Makes and receives calls to members regarding delinquent checking accounts and loans, taking action to bring current.
Assists in documentation on collection activities, including insurance and total loss files.

Experience: One to three years of similar or related experience.

Education: High school education or GED
