Collections Analyst

System One is partnering with a Tulsa manufacturing client to hire a Collections Analyst to support a high-volume accounts receivable / treasury function. This is an onsite, direct-hire opportunity with a stable team and strong cross-functional exposure.

Responsibilities:

• Manage an assigned portfolio of customer accounts, tracking balances and driving timely payment
• Analyze A/R aging and payment trends; prioritize collection outreach based on risk and past-due status
• Apply and reconcile incoming payments
• Research and resolve invoice/payment discrepancies by partnering with internal stakeholders (e.g., project/account teams) and customer contacts
• Prepare clear status updates on open receivables, disputes, and collection progress for leadership review
• Create and process account adjustments such as credit/debit memos
• Provide responsive, professional customer support while maintaining firm collection expectations
• Recommend and help implement process improvements to increase cash application accuracy and reduce DSO

Requirements:

• 3+ years in collections, accounts receivable, cash application, or a related finance/accounting function
• Strong working knowledge of Excel (reporting, sorting/filtering, lookups/pivots a plus); comfortable with Microsoft Office
• Confident communicator (phone + email) with a customer-service mindset and the ability to handle escalations tactfully
• Highly organized; able to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and frequent follow-ups
• Discreet with sensitive/confidential information; strong attention to detail
• Self-starter who can work independently while collaborating across teams
