Job Description
Rough Carpenter (Commercial Projects) –Meadville, PA AreaTradeWorX is hiring experienced Rough Carpenters for ongoing commercial projects in the Meadville, PA region. This role requires strong framing and layout ability, with a focus on productivity, accuracy, and working independently. - Full-time, with potential overtime
- Project duration: Multiple months, steady work
- Start Date: Mid-April
- Perform commercial rough carpentry including framing, layout, and formwork
- Read and interpret blueprints independently
- Layout walls, openings, and elevations with minimal supervision
- Frame walls, ceilings, soffits, and backing to specification
- Install door frames, rough openings, and prep for hardware
- Build and strip concrete forms;set embeds and anchor bolts
- Execute complex layout, solve field-fit issues, and coordinate with other trades
- Maintain production pace and operate independently or lead small crews
- Proven experience in commercial rough carpentry
- Ability to read and work from blueprints independently
- Full set of carpenter hand tools
- Reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and consistent attendance
