Job Description
General description: A Project Engineer will be involved with each project from beginning to end. You will collaborate closely with the project manager and field personnel. You will often be working on site and helping coordinate daily activities ranging from tracking materials to helping track job costs.
Responsibilities:
- Review estimate spreadsheets and become familiar with the cost allocation.
- Assist the PM with takeoffs.
- Track manpower daily and approve timecards.
- Assist with documentation for RFI’s, Co’s, submittals, and sub-contractors and other paperwork.
- Approves invoices and does quantity tracking daily.
- Updates PM daily with delivery of materials and progress of the project.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management or 1-2 years of prevalent experience.
- Proficient with Bluebeam, Revu, Word and Excel.
- Familiar with B2W (preferred).
- Knowledgeable with tilt up (preferred) .
- Willing to travel to projects in various states.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Able to work weekends if needed.
- OSHA Certification.
