Job Description
General description:As a Concrete Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of concrete construction. You are to ensure that the project stays within budget, meets scheduling deadlines, and upholds safety standards. You will coordinate weekly with the Project Manager and Operations Managers to make sure that the project is running smoothly. Additionally, collaborating with the General Contractor every day to assure that the project is meeting design and staying on schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and provide leadership to all concrete construction crews on site.
- Review and interpret concrete blueprints and scope of work.
- Help the PM with Sequencing the project.
- Provide updates to the operations team daily.
- Approve timecards from field personnel.
- Able to adjust the schedule if behind during the construction phase.
- Maintain records of daily reports, production logs and all other necessary paperwork.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks
- Provide accurate solutions should problems arise.
- Actively communicate and work with the GC
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Forman and at least 8 years as a superintendent.
- Knowledge with different concrete construction trades.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of tilt up construction.
- Able to work weekends when needed.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Able to work weekends if needed.
- OSHA Certification.
