Position Summary:

The HVAC Construction Sales Representative is responsible for developing and managing relationships with mechanical contractors, general contractors, developers, and building owners to drive profitable HVAC & plumbing construction projects. This mid-level role focuses on project-based sales, territory growth, and long-term account management while collaborating with estimating, engineering, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:• Identify, pursue, and close HVAC & plumbing construction opportunities within an assigned territory.• Develop new contractor and GC relationships while expanding existing accounts.• Track projects through planning, bidding, and award phases using a CRM software.Project & Bid Management:• Support bid and proposal development with estimating and engineering teams.• Review plans, specifications, and scopes of work.• Assist with pricing strategy and negotiations.Relationship Management:• Serve as primary point of contact for customers.• Build long-term trust with decision-makers.Cross-Functional Coordination:• Coordinate with project managers and operations for smooth handoff.• Communicate schedules, scope, and expectations.Sales Administration:• Maintain CRM records and sales forecasts.• Meet assigned revenue and margin targets.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3–7 years of HVAC or mechanical construction sales experience.• Strong knowledge of HVAC & plumbing systems and construction workflows.• Experience with construction drawings and bid processes.• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.• Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience selling to mechanical contractors or GCs.
    • Familiarity with CRM platforms.
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or Construction Management.
