Commercial Construction Superintendent 

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year (Depending on Experience)

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to join our growing team. In this role, you will oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and according to the highest quality standards. This is a key leadership position within the company, where you will have the opportunity to directly impact the success of our construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to the project plan, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Manage construction schedules to ensure timely project completion, while maintaining a focus on high-quality workmanship.
• Lead and coordinate subcontractors, tradespeople, and construction teams, ensuring smooth collaboration and communication across all parties.
• Inspect ongoing work regularly to verify compliance with architectural and engineering specifications.
• Implement and monitor safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all on-site personnel.
• Address any on-site issues, discrepancies, or unforeseen challenges, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on-site, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns related to project progress.
• Maintain accurate records, including daily reports, equipment logs, and personnel records, to track construction progress and ensure accountability.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role in commercial construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and project management principles.
• Proven leadership ability with excellent communication skills to effectively manage teams and contractors.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry.
