Legacy Heating & Cooling is a fast-growing company serving the Inland Northwest, and we're looking for a skilled Commercial Ductwork Fabricator to join our shop team in Hayden, Idaho. Position Summary: This shop-based role focuses on fabricating, assembling, and preparing commercial ductwork according to blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications. The position requires precision sheet metal work using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and machinery. You'll be part of a supportive team that takes pride in producing top-quality ductwork for installation crews in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble sheet metal ductwork to precise measurements and specifications
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings for accurate production
- Operate shop equipment, including shears, brakes, and forming machines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Collaborate with team members to meet project timelines and quality standards
Required Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of sheet metal fabrication or ductwork experience is preferred
- Work experience in the commercial HVAC industry is preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift
- Commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
