Job Title: Commercial Project Manager Location: Omaha, Nebraska Join Team Kline – Where you’re not just an employee, you’re an owner! Job Summary: The Commercial Electrical Project Manageris responsible for overseeing and managing commercial construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will work directly with Foreman and contractors to ensure that all aspects of the project run smoothly, including scheduling, employee job designation, and overall project safety. The Commercial Project Manager will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of quality, functionality, and customer satisfaction.If you’re passionate about your career, and want to take it to the next level, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Foreman and contractors to manage scheduling and designate employee tasks. Act as the primary point of contact for each job walk through, opening layoutAddress any inquiries or concerns from involved parties throughout a projectSupervise and monitor employee techniques and practices at each location to ensure compliance with safety standards and company policiesEnsure adherence to overall job safety and company procedures including current electrical codes and safety regulationsRegularly address timelines for project completion, building aesthetics, functionality, quality, and customer satisfactionOrganize and coordinate the release of equipment and tools as needed. Work with the shop to manage material distributionMonitor any additional work not included on the original project cost. Ensure accurate billing for any add-on workMaintain and manage all required paperwork, including daily job logs, change order tickets, and any other designated documentationMinimum Requirements: A valid class A Journeyman license or higherAt least 1 year minimum commercial electrical project management experienceMust be able to be insured under company vehicle insurance policyMinimum of 5 years of related experience in electrical commercial workProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteCompetence with phones, email, and other communication toolsStrong written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to manage and lead teams effectivelyComply with OSHA safety guidelines and wear PPE as neededReport hazards and follow safe work practicesHigh school diploma or equivalent; further education in construction management or related fields is a plusPhysical Requirements and Work Environment:Regularly life up to 50 lbs; occasionally more with assistanceProlonged standing and walking on various surfacesFrequent ladder use and working at various heights may be requiredRegular bending, kneeling, and working in confined spacesFrequent use of hands for tools and precision workGood vision and hearing requiredUse of PPE including safety glasses and hearing protection is mandatoryIndoors and outdoors work required, may be exposed to extreme weather, confined spaces, and high elevationsOvertime, weekend, and emergency work may be requiredGood hand-eye coordination and dexterity is requiredWhy Team Kline?
