In the Commercial Experiences Product Management Team, we are continuously driving strategies for how to deliver new innovations and solutions to enhance customer experiences across our commercial PC Portfolio.  We spend countless hours diving intimately into our customers’ requirements and future needs, understanding future trends and evaluating new technologies – so that we can define and deliver ground-breaking new experiences for our customers.  As a Product Marketing Manager within our team, you will be responsible for end-to-end Product and Experiences strategies for our Commercial PC systems.

We are looking for an experienced product manager who is passionate about customers and loves thinking of how experiences can attract new customers and change category perceptions. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced business group in a company known for its respect for employees and industry leadership. You will work on cross-functional teams with some of the best R&D, design, and experience engineers, operations, marketing, and finance leaders to create, build, and define end-to-end experiences and solutions that deliver value to the customer.

The Commercial Systems business is a fast-paced dynamic business that continues to reinvent computing experiences within the industry.  We are continually striving to grow and lead within the industry by offering products and solutions that delight our customers.  As a product marketing manager within the Commercial Experiences Product Management Team, you will be responsible for defining and delivering an exciting portfolio of products and solutions that will take our computing business to the next level and create lasting value for our users. 

Responsibilities:

  • Successful development and execution of PC Serviceability experiences within the Commercial Experiences Team

  • Leads telemetry-based predictive serviceability experiences that involve cross-functional, portfolio-wide coordination to provide integrated products/services/ solutions

  • Works with Services, Support, Warranty & Telemetry teams to help assist with the vision, strategy and roadmap for PC Serviceability products and services.

  • Gathering and developing customer insights and analyzing future customer trends

  • Build a strong knowledge base of industry hardware and software market & technology trends to identify new opportunities and intersections with customer insights

  • Develop and drive the roadmap for end-to-end customer experiences across our commercial systems portfolio

  • Create strategies for how we will lead, grow and create value in our portfolio with these solutions and experiences

  • Provide closed-loop analysis of our strategies and performance

  • Create the solutions narrative and value propositions for downstream teams

  • Develop pricing and positioning strategies appropriate for our global markets

  • Collaborate with a global, cross-functional team to develop products and solutions

  • Work across organizations to ensure that our solutions and experiences are implemented and executed according to our strategies

  • Regularly recommend and pitch solutions and strategic direction to senior management

  • Act as an expert to downstream marketing and sales team and be called upon to help enhance communications to customers and partners

Education and Experience Required:

  • MBA or equivalent experience strongly desired

  • 10+ years working with product marketing fundamentals

  • 10+ years working in PC services and/or support

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proven track record of bringing successful products and solutions to market, preferably in PC services & support

  • Excellent leadership capabilities with ability to bring diverse groups together to move an initiative forward

  • Proven capability in project management and cross-functional team management

  • Deep customer empathy and natural curiosity about customer use cases

  • Telemetry and data-driven decision approach to decision-making

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and management skills to interact with peers, colleagues, management and cross-functional teams

  • Expertise working across functional and organizational boundaries with demonstrated ability to influence and persuade outside of your organization

  • Strong business acumen – ability to drive a business strategy and model a solution’s financial opportunity and understand performance impacts

  • Intuitive story-telling aptitude and narrative creation expertise

  • Proactive, action-oriented and resourceful problem-solving attitude

  • Strategic and analytical thinking skills – with experience also operating at a detailed level

  • Broad knowledge of marketing and marketing program implementation; knowledge of product lifecycle, in-depth knowledge of the key marketing elements (products, pricing, place and promotion)

  • Self-starter; ability to work independently

  • Strong team player with ability to fill gaps to get the job done

  • Affinity for software, new technologies and PCs are a plus

The pay range for this role is$130,700to$205,200USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.Benefits:HP offers a comprehensive benefits package for this position, including:
