Job Description
Job Title: - Commercial Cooking Equipment Entry Level ApprenticePay Scale: $18-$25 DOEWork Hours: 7:30 am - 5:30 pm Monday to Friday (Weekends, Overtime, and Evenings on occasion)Primary Job Function: To assist a senior technician in performing maintenance and repairs on commercial cooking equipment according to company standards, providing the customer with a high-quality experience.
Compensation: 401k match, health insurance, accrued vacation and holiday pay.
Reports to: Office Manager
Required Qualifications:• High school diploma or its equivalent• Valid driver's license• Demonstrate willingness to invest in tools used in the service of cooking equipment• Demonstrate willingness to invest time in service training seminars and classes• Ability to operate power and hand tools safely• Enroll in factory course and/or in-house training programs• Ability to follow written and verbal directions as given• Demonstrate commitment to developing customer service skills• Acquire EPA certification within 3 months of entering the Service Technician position• Demonstrate mechanical aptitudeQualifications desired:• Universal EPA Certification• Insurable driving record• Possess the tools needed
