Commercial HVAC Estimator

We're seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Estimator to join our growing team! You'll play a pivotal role in securing profitable projects by preparing comprehensive budgets and bids. This hands-on position will see you managing the entire estimation process, from the initial receipt of plans and specifications to the delivery of our final proposal.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze project plans, specifications, and blueprints to accurately estimate material, labor, and equipment costs.
• Develop competitive and profitable bids.
• Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to ensure proposals align with project requirements and client expectations.
• Manage subcontractor quotes and negotiate pricing for optimal project value.
• Maintain a comprehensive database of unit costs and historical project data for future reference.
• Prepare and present proposals to clients in a professional and persuasive manner.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial HVAC estimating.
• Proven ability to develop accurate and competitive bids that win projects.
• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems, equipment, and installation practices.
• Proficiency in industry-standard estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A team player with a positive and results-oriented attitude
• Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required 
• Strong negotiation skills 
• Strong verbal and written skills 
• High motivation to meet sales goals
