Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial HVACForeman to lead installation crews on commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will oversee HVAC systems installation, ensure compliance with design specifications and building codes, manage jobsite productivity, and maintain a safe working environment.Pay:$30.00/hr - $35.00/hr (depending on experience)Location: Troy, OH 45373Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate activities of HVAC installers and subcontractors on-site.
- Interpret HVAC drawings, specifications, and mechanical plans to guide installation.
- Ensure HVAC system installation is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
- Inspect work in progress and completed work to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Plan materials, tools, and labor requirements for each phase of construction.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, general contractors, and other trades.
- Maintain detailed records of job progress, timesheets, and material usage.
- Enforce company policies and OSHA safety regulations.
- Provide hands-on support when needed, especially during critical phases.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC installation, with at least 2 years in a leadership or foreman role.
- Valid HVAC license or journeyman certification (where applicable).
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems (RTUs, chillers, boilers, ductwork, piping, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
- Proven leadership and team coordination skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
