Description

This is an outstanding opportunity for a Commercial HVAC Project Manager / Estimator with a well-established mechanical contractor that has built a strong reputation through decades of consistent work and long-term employee retention. Based in the Rancho Cordova, CA, this company specializes in ground-up commercial HVAC construction—primarily supporting restaurant clients—and is known for steady workloads, trusted GC relationships, and a leadership team that values experience, independence, and accountability.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Commercial HVAC Project Manager / Estimator position include:

10+ years of experience in commercial or industrial HVAC construction, with flexibility for highly qualified candidates
Preparing accurate estimates for commercial HVAC projects by reviewing plans, specifications, and scopes of work
Managing HVAC projects from bid through completion, including coordination with general contractors, clients, and field foremen
Reading and interpreting construction drawings to determine material, labor, and equipment needs
Overseeing job progress both on-site and in the office, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met
Working with construction and project management software; experience with tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, or Primavera is preferred but flexible
Maintaining strong communication with all project stakeholders to ensure smooth execution
Operating independently with minimal oversight in a fast-paced environment

Salary: $70,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
