Commercial HVAC/R Dispatcher

Dispatchers - are responsible for dispatching, scheduling, and coordinating the logistics of service calls for our HVAC Service Technicians. To succeed in this role, you should be highly organized and able to perform multiple tasks for different clients and field employees simultaneously.

WHAT HELIOS NEEDS FROM YOU:

• Dispatch work orders during business hours for assigned districts.
• Communicate job progress with Account Managers, advise them on scheduling delays.
• Coordinate proper technician assignments for quoted repairs.
• Follow up on all return status. Work with Account Manager to keep job moving.
• Work with Service Manager on any unscheduled truck repairs.
• Dispatchers will work together with Service Manager to help monitor technician time on jobs.
• Dispatcher will work together with Service Manager to closely assess entire workload and determine manpower for over time and weekend work.
• Schedule all approved quoted repairs within 2 business days of part delivery.

WHAT SETS YOU APART:

• High school education or GED; Associates and/or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 2-3 years’ dispatcher experience. 
• Valid driver’s license
• Demonstrated experience in customer service.
• Proven flexibility and dependable performance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• able to sit at a desk for extended period of time
• capacity to respond quickly and effectively with emergency requests
• must be able to communicate clearly and professionally in fast paced or high-pressure environments

Helios HVAC/R Services LLC determines compensation based on the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $20-$30 hour. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
