About the Role

As a Commercial HVAC Service Technician, you will diagnose, repair, maintain, and service a wide variety of commercial HVAC equipment, including rooftop units, split systems, package units, variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems, exhaust and make-up air systems, boilers, chillers, pumps, controls, and associated mechanical equipment. You will be responsible for troubleshooting complex system issues, performing preventative maintenance, identifying repair opportunities, and ensuring commercial customers receive reliable, high-quality service.

This role is ideal for an experienced technician who enjoys solving technical problems, working independently, managing customer relationships, and continuously expanding their knowledge of commercial HVAC systems.

What You'll Do

Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and mechanical systems while ensuring optimal equipment performance and customer satisfaction. Perform preventative maintenance inspections, troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration, airflow, and control-related issues, complete accurate service documentation, communicate findings and recommendations to customers, start up and commission equipment, and maintain compliance with all safety standards and company procedures. Coordinate with customers, facility managers, and internal team members to ensure projects and service calls are completed efficiently and professionally.

What We're Looking For

Candidates should have previous experience servicing commercial HVAC equipment and possess strong troubleshooting skills, mechanical aptitude, and electrical diagnostic abilities. Experience working on rooftop units, commercial split systems, controls, refrigeration circuits, and building mechanical systems is highly preferred. EPA Certification is required, and additional industry certifications are a plus.
