Job Description
Commercial HVAC Service Technician- Mechanical Services- Base Salary to 45.00/hour- Saint Louis, MO
- Our client is a well-established mechanical contractor with a long-standing presence in the commercial HVAC and refrigeration industry. They are seeking a full-time Commercial HVAC Service Technician to support installation and service operations across light commercial and commercial environments.
- This is a hands-on, field-based role working on a variety of systems for facilities such as schools, churches, and industrial/commercial buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Install, service, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems in the field
- Perform system start-ups, commissioning, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration system issues
- Support both service work and installation projects
- Work on equipment including RTUs, AHUs, VRF/VRV systems, chillers, boilers, package units, and mini-splits
- Maintain system performance, safety, and reliability across customer sites
- Participate in an on-call rotation (approximately 1x every 6 weeks)
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience (service and/or installation within commercial environments)
- 2+ years of commercial refrigeration experience
- EPA 608 Certification (required)
- Experience working for a mechanical contractor, HVAC service company, or similar commercial service provider
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing commercial HVAC systems in the field
- Experience working on one or more of the following systems: RTUs, AHUs, VRF/VRV, chillers, boilers, or package units
Compensation:
- Base salary up to 45.00/hour
- 100% employer-paid health insurance
