Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Review service schedules, with assistance from department manager to maintain schedules and ensure timely completion of service calls.*
- Coordinate project material, equipment needs, and deliveries in order to maintain job productivity and projected completion schedules.*
- Analyze systems and review findings to determine source of problem, recommend repair, replacement, or other corrective action.*
- Double-check work to prevent callbacks.*
- Provide on-site technical assistance to help troubleshoot and repair equipment.*
- Complete and forward service tickets, in legible, comprehensive fashion.*
- Provides communication link between the customer and the company, ensuring effective service.*
- Responds to service calls in timely fashion, including after hours if assigned to provide emergency services.*
- Attends schools and seminars to maintain and advance technical knowledge.*
- Comply with company policies and procedures, especially safety rules.
- Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.*
- Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports and correspondence.*
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.*
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardizations exist.*
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.*
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability of statistical inference, and fundamental of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.*
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
