ChillTex Heating, Cooling & Mechanical Services – Minster, OH
ChillTex Heating, Cooling & Mechanical Services is growing—and we’re looking for a skilled Commercial HVAC Service Technician to support our expanding commercial division.

ChillTex is a family-owned company founded in 2010, known for its strong reputation in both residential and heavy commercial HVAC work—including restaurants, refrigeration, rooftop units, industrial facilities, chillers, boilers, schools, and factories.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose, service, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Perform thorough system checks to ensure repairs are completed correctly the first time
- Communicate clearly with customers about services performed and system condition
- Identify potential issues and recommend solutions to prevent future breakdowns
- Maintain accurate job documentation, including system age and condition
- Present high-efficiency equipment options when appropriate
- Educate customers on maintenance memberships and benefits
- Follow all safety protocols on job sites and while driving
- Keep your company vehicle clean, organized, and professional at all times
Performance Expectations
- Generate leads through service calls (avg. 1 lead per 5 repair calls / 1 per 10 maintenance calls)
- Maintain strong membership conversion (25%+) and renewal rates (90%)
- Deliver honest recommendations—no unnecessary repairs, ever
- Represent ChillTex with professionalism, integrity, and a positive attitude
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
- Drug-free workplace compliance
