Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Commercial HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for the following:

1. Conducting regular inspections of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
2. Diagnosing system malfunctions and effectively carrying out necessary repairs or replacements.
3. Troubleshooting various HVAC components including split systems, package units, and chillers.
4. Performing preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to increase longevity and efficiency.
5. Responding to emergency calls for HVAC system breakdowns and resolving issues promptly.
6. Providing technical guidance and support to team members and clients.
7. Ensuring compliance with safety procedures and protocols during all operations.
8. Documenting service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
9. Maintaining customer rapport by resolving concerns, answering questions, and providing HVAC system use and maintenance advice.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC service and repair.
2. Valid EPA certification.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to operate smart devices.
4. A valid driver's license.
5. Excellent understanding of HVAC systems, including the ability to diagnose and repair malfunctions.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot split systems, package units, and chillers.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
8. Exceptional customer service skills.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Physical stamina and dexterity to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
