Commercial HVAC Service Technician

REIC Rentals is hiring a safety- and customer-driven Traveling Commercial HVAC Service Technician to serve as a trusted technical expert responsible for keeping our high-performance rental fleet operating at peak efficiency. From heating and cooling to dehumidification, ventilation, and environmental control equipment, your work ensures our equipment is safe, reliable, and always customer-ready-both in the shop and at customer sites.

What You'll Do
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC rental equipment in the shop and at customer job sites
- Accurately diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
- Provide hands-on customer support and basic equipment operation training
- Document service work thoroughly using modern service management systems
- Travel to customer sites and support seasonal overtime demands
- Maintain a strong safety focus on the road, in the shop, and at customer locations
What You'll Bring
- 3+ years of technical experience in HVAC, equipment service, field maintenance, or related work
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Demonstrated safety-first mindset in shop and field environments
- Clear, professional communication skills with customers and teammates
- EPA Universal Certification and 3-5 years of HVAC/R experience strongly preferred
- Clean driving record and minimum age of 21
- Ability and willingness to travel to customer sites
- Flexibility to handle changing daily priorities and seasonal overtime
