Commercial HVAC Specialist – Cannabis Facility

Our state-of-the-art operations depend on a strong facilities team to keep our growing environment precise and reliable. We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Specialist to join our team and ensure our facility systems run at peak performance.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and service commercial HVAC systems across cultivation and production spaces.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and controls issues quickly and effectively.
- Manage supplier relationships, including sourcing, ordering, and tracking replacement parts and equipment.
- Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and system performance.
- Maintain accurate service logs, inspection reports, and compliance documentation.
- Support facility operations during emergencies, including overtime, after-hours, and weekend work when required.
- Work in a physically active role, on your feet for extended periods in a demanding production environment.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on commercial HVAC experience (cannabis, pharma, or food production environment preferred).
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, chillers, dehumidification, and building automation controls.
- Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and procurement of parts/supplies.
- Experience developing and executing preventative maintenance programs.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills under time-sensitive conditions.
- Ability to work independently and within a team, with a strong sense of accountability.
- Willingness to work overtime and flexible hours as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work on feet for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in varying environmental conditions (heat, humidity, cold).
