Commercial HVAC Startup Tech
Location: Spokane, WA
Pay Range: $35-$45 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-Time | Flexible Scheduling | Optional 4-Day Work Weeks!
Legacy Heating & Cooling is continuing to expand its commercial HVAC operations throughout the Inland Northwest, creating new opportunities for experienced technicians who want long-term career growth with a company that is investing in its future. We are currently seeking a Commercial HVAC Startup Tech to support commercial refrigeration and controls projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys technical troubleshooting, system commissioning, and working with advanced HVAC control systems while continuing to grow their expertise in a fast-growing company.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform startup and commissioning of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Verify system performance, controls, and electrical connections
- Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and control schematics
- Troubleshoot startup and operational issues
- Assist with system testing and project completion
- Maintain safety and quality standards on job sites
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of refrigeration, controls, or HVAC startup experience
- EPA Certification required
- Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
- Strong understanding of HVAC controls, refrigeration systems, and wiring
- Experience reading technical drawings and schematics
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- 06A HVAC Electrical License preferred
- Building automation or controls experience is a plus
- NATE Certification or related trade certifications are beneficial
Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
