Job Description

A community bank in Perry is confidentially seeking a Commercial Lender to grow business banking across Dallas County and central Iowa. You'll find new clients, underwrite and structure credit, close loans, and service a commercial portfolio.

Responsibilities:

Develop new business clients through calling, networking, and referral partners
Understand each owner's goals and match them with credit and deposit solutions
Analyze business financials and judge creditworthiness on new requests
Write credit memos and guide loan documents through closing
Open commercial accounts and cross-sell treasury services
Reach portfolio growth goals while keeping credit quality sound

Qualifications:

Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or Business is preferred
Hands-on time in commercial lending or business banking
Confident communicator and presenter with business owners
Hands-on experience preparing proposals and underwriting loans
Organized enough to keep several deals moving at once
