Job Description
We are seeking a Commercial Lending Relationship Manager for the Commercial Lending Department.
The Commercial Lending Relationship Manager ("Relationship Manager") is accountable to lead and grow a consultative origination and service team, the Commercial Lending Relationship function, to produce commercial loans in alignment with Credit Human philosophy and mission. This requires the team to be engaged with the business & non-profit communities to build market equity and identify emerging needs for product development and reform. We will differentiate with high touch service to smaller businesses and non-profits. In doing that, the incumbent must possess leadership qualities that can deliver results and create a cooperative and service-minded culture. In terms of the sales and origination approach, this role will have the latitude to create the sales standards and approach within the context set by the General Manager New Markets. The incumbent is expected to be able to develop and manage to annual budgets. This requires proficient skills in planning a year out of the current operating cycle to enable the achievement of our long-term objectives. This includes developing production and expense forecasts given internal and external opportunities and constraints. The Relationship Manager will also play a role in shaping the intermediate term strategy and agenda.

Experience:
Required
- 7 or more years of increasing responsibility experience in lending
- 5 or more years in a leadership position in lending
- Experience with networking in New Orleans, Louisiana
Preferred
- 5 or more years of experience in managing a team who originated commercial loans.
- Experience standing up/establishing new markets.
- Experience with networking in San Antonio and Houston, Texas
Education:
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Computer Science, related field of study, or equivalent experience and knowledge

- Creates annual operating budgets and multi‑year plans that support achievement of organizational objectives.
- Demonstrates strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Applies strong analytical and conceptual skills with careful attention to detail.
- Prioritizes and manages a wide range of projects, initiatives, and activities effectively.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-5:30 pm
Level of Work: 3B
Salary Range: $125,429 to $145,000 Annually; 10% bonus potential
Flexibility: In office, on site; not remote or hybrid
