Job Description
A well-established commercial insurance brokerage is looking for an experienced Commercial Lines Client Manager to join its client service team. The role combines hands-on account management with team leadership, and you'll partner closely with Risk Advisors and senior client managers on a book of commercial clients.
What you'll do
- Manage the new business and renewal process from start to finish
- Build marketing plans, prepare submissions to carriers, and negotiate coverage terms and pricing
- Review contracts and leases and advise clients on risk and compliance
- Handle account servicing as needed, including certificates, binders, endorsements, and auto ID cards
- Supervise, train, and support the client service team
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers
What you bring
- A current California insurance license
- 5+ years of commercial lines client management experience
- Industry designations are a plus, but not required
- You must live in California or in a Mountain Time Zone state, and Southern California is preferred
