Job Description

Job Title: Commercial Litigation Associate (3–5 Years Experience)Locations: Portland, ME or Concord, NH

Overview:

A well-established and growing law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate with 3–5 years of experience to join its dynamic litigation team in either Portland, Maine or Concord, New Hampshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney looking to work on sophisticated matters in a collaborative and supportive environment.Key Responsibilities:

Handle a broad range of commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
Manage discovery, including depositions and document review
Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, and mediations
Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy
Maintain strong client relationships and provide high-quality legal counsel

Qualifications:

3–5 years of commercial litigation experience
Strong writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
Experience managing cases and meeting deadlines independently
Licensed to practice in Maine and/or New Hampshire (or ability to waive in)
Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team
