Job Description
A growing Houston plaintiff personal injury firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Paralegal to support a busy attorney handling commercial motor vehicle accident litigation. This position is ideal for a highly organized litigation professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being involved throughout the life of complex litigation matters.Position: Commercial Litigation ParalegalLocation: Houston,TX | 100% In-OfficeSalary: up to $95K + benefits and generous bonusesResponsibilities
- Draft pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, and correspondence
- Manage case files from inception through trial
- Coordinate discovery responses and document production
- Schedule depositions, mediations, expert meetings, and court appearances
- Maintain litigation deadlines and attorney calendars
- Prepare trial notebooks and exhibits
- Request and organize medical and business records
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel
- Assist attorneys throughout all phases of litigation
- 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience
- Personal injury litigation experience strongly preferred
- Experience supporting complex litigation matters
- Strong knowledge of Texas litigation procedures
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
