Job Description
Title: Commercial Litigation ParalegalOffice Status: Hybrid West Palm Beach, FLSalary: $80k-$100kABOUT THE ROLEA well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys through all stages of complex litigation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment, with hands-on experience supporting discovery, court filings, e-discovery, and trial preparation.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support attorneys throughout all stages of commercial litigation matters.
- Prepare, organize, and electronically file legal documents with state and federal courts.
- Create and maintain organized case files, calendars, databases, and litigation records.
- Manage deadlines and track case activity to ensure timely completion of critical tasks.
- Review, proofread, Bates label, organize, and prepare documents for discovery, pleadings, and motions.
- Conduct factual research and assist with case investigations.
- Coordinate subpoenas and third-party records requests and retrieval.
- Draft correspondence, memoranda, and other materials at the direction of attorneys.
- Support e-discovery activities, including collection, review, and production of electronically stored information.
- Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits, evidence organization, witness coordination, and trial logistics.
- Accurately record billable time and provide sufficiently detailed descriptions in the firm's billing system.
