Commercial Loan Coordinator

Are you detail-oriented, customer-focused, and interested in building a career in commercial banking? Premier Community Bank is looking for a Commercial Loan Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you'll support our commercial lending staff by assisting with loan documentation and closings, maintaining loan files, and providing excellent service to both new and existing customers. This position plays a key role in ensuring a smooth lending process while helping support and grow our commercial loan portfolio. This position will be trained in our Marion branch.

What You'll Do:

• Assist Commercial Loan Officers with preparing loan files, including applications, credit requests, and supporting documentation.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for borrower inquiries related to loan documentation and loan status.
• Organize loan documentation packets for closing and ensure all required conditions are satisfied prior to funding.
• Coordinate loan closings with borrowers, attorneys, title companies, and internal staff.
• Assist with post‑closing review to confirm documents are properly executed, recorded, scanned, and audit‑ready.
• Assist with loan renewals, modifications, extensions, and annual reviews.

Skills for Success:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred.
• 3 years of experience in banking or loan operations support required.
• • Experience in a relationship-focused lending environment preferred.
• Must have working knowledge of commercial loan documentation and terminology.
• Experience with core banking and loan documentation systems preferred.
• Familiarity with commercial credit underwriting and loan lifecycle processes preferred.
• Understanding of collateral types, UCC filings, and insurance requirements preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused, professional, and courteous demeanor.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint/OneDrive).
