Job Description

About Us:

Vortexa was founded to solve the immense information gap that exists in the energy industry. By using massive amounts of new satellite data and pioneering work in artificial intelligence, Vortexa creates an unprecedented view of global seaborne energy flows in real-time, bringing transparency and efficiency to the energy markets.

With offices in London, New York, Houston, Singapore, Geneva and the UAE, we are building the definitive platform for energy and freight analytics globally - backed by leading investors including Morgan Stanley & Notion Capital.

The Role:

Vortexa is seeking a Product Specialist to join our fast growing and collaborative Pre-Sales team in New York. This is one of the most exciting roles at Vortexa, ideal for someone who is passionate about energy markets and client engagement, looking to make an impact at an innovative and rapidly evolving technology company.

Given the nature of our New York client base, this position will have a particular focus on financial-services customers. Experience working with banks, hedge funds and other financial institutions is a strong advantage.

As a Product Specialist you'll work directly with prospects, clients and internal teams to help users get the maximum value from the Vortexa platform. Your market understanding and hands-on feedback will also play a key role in shaping the future direction of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop deep expertise in Vortexa's platform, methodologies, and data.
  • Deliver compelling, tailored product demonstrations to prospects, clients, and partners.
  • Drive engagement throughout product trials by onboarding users, monitoring usage, sharing targeted content, and acting as the main point of contact during evaluations.
  • Meet clients and prospects in person and represent Vortexa at key industry events.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to drive growth, shape strategy, and identify new opportunities.
  • Support upsell efforts across the Vortexa product suite by identifying needs during evaluations and collaborating with Solutions Architects on tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success to support complex client use cases and contribute to retention initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with prospects and stakeholders, acting as their internal advocate throughout the evaluation journey.
  • Provide input into product roadmap discussions and contribute to ongoing product‑improvement initiatives.
  • Lead internal and external training and help grow in‑house market expertise.
