- Work on sophisticated, multi-site commercial transactions
- Manage commercial real estate and finance transactions from inception to closing*
- Review and analyze title commitments, surveys, exception documents, inspections, and due diligence materials*
- Prepare closing checklists, conveyance documents, closing statements, transfer tax forms, and escrow releases*
- Coordinate closings and handle post-closing deliverables, including closing binders and indices*
- Draft, review, and file real estate and finance documents, including deeds, mortgages, memoranda of leases, and UCC financing statements*
- Abstract leases and loan documents; summarize UCC, judgment, tax, and other lien searches*
- Maintain organization and accuracy across multiple transactions and deadlines*
- Communicate professionally with attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders
- Minimum 5 years of commercial real estate and/or finance paralegal experience in a law firm*
- Strong understanding of title and survey review, commercial closings, and real estate finance processes*
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with iManage and Aderant preferred*
- Florida Registered Paralegal preferred; Bachelors degree a plus*
- Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills*
- Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and work independently in a deadline-driven environment*
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail
