Job Description

Title: Mid-Level Commercial Real Estate Associate

Location: San Francisco, CA

Position Type: Full-Time

About the Firm:

We are representing a top-tier, law firm seeking an experienced Real Estate Associate to join their premier commercial real estate practice group. The firm offers the opportunity to take on significant client-facing responsibility while working alongside industry-leading attorneys in a collaborative environment.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of substantive commercial real estate transaction experience. You will work on sophisticated matters, balancing direct client engagement and independent case management with collaborative team projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle complex commercial real estate transactions, including debt financing, joint ventures, acquisitions, dispositions, and development work.
Draft, review, and negotiate comprehensive transaction documents.
Manage thorough title, survey, and due diligence matters.
Assume direct client-facing responsibilities and manage significant individual project components.

Qualifications:

Experience: 3–5 years of dedicated commercial real estate transactional practice.
Education & Credentials: Exceptional academic records from a nationally recognized law school; admitted to practice in California
Skills: Superior legal drafting skills, robust analytical capabilities, and razor-sharp attention to detail.
Attributes: Strong organizational ability, self-motivated to work independently, and a strong collaborative mindset.

Compensation:

Base Salary Range: $250,000 – $325,000 annually
Note: Final base salary offers depend on candidate experience level, educational background, and relevant industry practice.
