Commercial Real Estate Paralegal Manager
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of paralegals, providing guidance, training, and oversight of day-to-day transactional work. Serve as a true player-coach by independently managing complex commercial real estate transactions while leading the broader paralegal team. Oversee deals through all phases of the transaction life cycle, including due diligence, title and survey review, financing, closing, and post-closing matters. Prepare and review entity formation, governance, and corporate documentation in support of transactional activity. Coordinate with attorneys, business stakeholders, title companies, vendors, and outside counsel to keep transactions moving efficiently. Manage team workloads, project timelines, and transaction priorities across a high-volume deal pipeline. Identify opportunities to improve processes, establish best practices, and enhance overall team effectiveness. Prepare closing binders, signature packets, organizational documents, and other critical transaction materials.
A successful Commercial Real Estate Paralegal Manager should have: prior experience managing, mentoring, training, or supervising paralegals or legal support staff; 7+ years of commercial real estate, transactional, and/or corporate paralegal experience; proven ability to independently manage sophisticated commercial real estate transactions from due diligence through closing; strong experience reviewing title, survey, entity formation, governance, and transactional documentation; excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deals, competing priorities, and tight deadlines; exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work product; strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of an organization; a proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to operate independently and take ownership of complex projects; experience with affordable housing, LIHTC, tax-exempt bond, or other subsidized housing transactions is a plus.
Competitive salary ranging from $150,000 to $170,000 plus a semi-annual bonus. 401(k) plan with employer match and immediate vesting. Paid time off, company holidays, and sick time.
