Position OverviewThe Commercial Roofing Estimator is responsible for evaluating projects, developing accurate and competitive estimates, and supporting both sales and operations from pre-bid through project closeout. This role is critical to driving profitable growth by ensuring all estimates are thorough, well-scoped, and aligned with company standards.

Key Responsibilities• Support business development and sales efforts through technical expertise and client interaction• Perform roof inspections, site visits, and field assessments for new construction, re-roof, and repair projects• Analyze drawings, specifications, and field data to prepare accurate takeoffs, estimates, and proposals• Communicate clearly with clients, vendors, and internal teams regarding scope, pricing, and timelines• Source and manage pricing from suppliers and subcontractors• Track bid activity, follow up on proposals, and assist with value engineering as needed• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure seamless project handoffs• Maintain organized estimating files, documentation, and CRM records

Qualifications• 5+ years of commercial roofing estimating experience preferred• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems and installation methods (TPO, PVC, EPDM, Modified Bitumen, etc.)• Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and perform detailed takeoffs• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment• Proficient with estimating tools such as EDGE, along with Excel, Microsoft Office, Procore, Bluebeam, CRM systems, and related platforms• Ability to perform roof inspections and field assessments
