Description

A growing, award-winning commercial roofing contractor is seeking a Commercial Roofing Estimator in San Marcos, TX, with a fully remote schedule until the company’s new headquarters is completed within the next 18-24 months. This is an exciting opportunity to join a close-knit, highly supportive team led by a hands-on owner with deep roofing experience, strong manufacturer partnerships, and a reputation for quality work across Texas.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Commercial Roofing Estimator position include:

• 3+ years of estimating experience in the roofing industry, with commercial roofing experience required• Prepare accurate estimates for commercial roofing projects ranging from $400K to $1.4M• Review plans, specifications, bid documents, and scope requirements• Perform quantity takeoffs, material calculations, and cost estimates for labor, equipment, and materials• Experience with Estimating Edge preferred; other commercial roofing estimating software is acceptable• Coordinate with ownership, project management, and operations teams throughout the bidding process• Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems, installation methods, and bid requirements• Maintain organized estimating records and assist with proposal preparation and project turnover meetings

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
