Job DetailsResponsibilities:As a Commercial Roofing Estimator, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties and responsibilities. These include:1. Conducting thorough, detailed site inspections to assess the scope of roofing projects.2. Analyzing blueprints, plans, and other technical documents to understand project requirements.3. Preparing comprehensive, accurate estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and other project costs.4. Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best prices and terms.5. Collaborating closely with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met.6. Presenting estimates to clients and stakeholders, explaining the rationale behind cost projections and addressing any questions or concerns.7. Continually monitoring industry trends and pricing fluctuations to ensure our estimates remain competitive and accurate.8. Maintaining detailed records of all estimates, including adjustments and alterations, for future reference.9. Working under tight deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously.Qualifications:To be considered for the role of Commercial Roofing Estimator, applicants must meet the following qualifications:1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial roofing estimation.2. Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints and technical specifications.3. Strong negotiation skills, with a proven track record of securing favorable terms and prices.4. Excellent numerical skills, with an ability to create accurate, detailed estimates.5. Familiarity with industry standard software and tools.6. Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to clearly explain complex concepts to clients and stakeholders.7. Strong organizational skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.8. A commitment to accuracy and precision in all aspects of work.9.
