About the Opportunity
An established commercial roofing contractor is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Production Manager to oversee new construction and reroofing operations in the San Antonio market.
This leadership position is responsible for managing field operations, supervising crews, coordinating schedules, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with extensive commercial roofing experience who thrives in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily production for multiple commercial roofing projects.
- Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and project schedules.
- Lead, mentor, and develop field superintendents, foremen, and crews.
- Ensure projects meet quality standards, budgets, and deadlines.
- Conduct jobsite inspections and enforce OSHA safety compliance.
- Monitor production costs, labor efficiency, and change orders.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Estimators to ensure successful project execution.
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide project updates.
- Resolve field issues quickly while minimizing project delays.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, daily reports, and production records.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial roofing experience.
- Minimum 2 years in a Production Manager, Superintendent, or similar leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems including TPO, PVC, EPDM, BUR, and metal roofing.
- Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
- OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and construction/project management software.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
