Commercial Roofing Project Manager
Location: Branford, CTCompensation:$95,000–$120,000 (Based on Experience)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Project Manager to oversee commercial roofing projects from pre-construction through closeout. This individual will manage project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, vendors, and customer relationships while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial roofing projects from award through completion.
- Review plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure successful project execution.
- Coordinate with customers, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams.
- Develop project schedules and monitor progress to ensure deadlines are met.
- Track labor, material costs, budgets, and project profitability.
- Manage submittals, change orders, RFIs, purchase orders, and project documentation.
- Conduct jobsite visits to monitor quality, safety, and production.
- Prepare and submit project billings and closeout documentation.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with Superintendents to maximize production and resolve project challenges.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial roofing project management experience required.
- Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems including TPO, EPDM, PVC, Modified Bitumen, BUR, and metal roofing.
- Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management/estimating software.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field is preferred but not required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
