Commercial Roofing Service Foreman
Austin, TX
Full-Time | $26.00 - $29.00 per Hour
About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Service Foreman to join a growing and well-established commercial roofing organization. This role is ideal for a hands-on roofing professional who enjoys leading crews, troubleshooting roofing issues, interacting with customers, and performing quality repair work on a variety of commercial roofing systems.
The Service Foreman will be responsible for inspecting roofs, diagnosing leaks, estimating repair needs, and leading small repair crews while maintaining the highest standards of safety, workmanship, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine roof inspections and maintain manufacturer warranty requirements
- Diagnose roofing issues and perform leak investigations and repairs
- Lead and train assigned crew members on proper repair procedures and safety practices
- Complete repairs and small-scale projects on a variety of commercial roofing systems
- Maintain accurate records for labor, materials, and job progress
- Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal team members
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with OSHA regulations
- Utilize company software and mobile technology for reporting and documentation
- Represent the company professionally at all times
Qualifications
- Commercial roofing experience required
- Knowledge of low-slope commercial roofing systems including:
- TPO
- EPDM
- PVC
- Modified Bitumen
- Built-Up Roofing (BUR)
- Roof Coatings
- Ability to identify and resolve field application and roofing system issues
- Experience leading and training crew members
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer and smartphone proficiency
- Valid driver's license with a clean and insurable driving record
- Ability to travel locally as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial roofing supervisory or foreman experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
