Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking a Commercial Security Consultant who specializes in growing a new client base within the commercial intrusion, access control, video surveillance & fire alarm verticals. This position requires a strong work ethic, excellent written and verbal skills, an aptitude for technology and the ability to develop industry related partnerships within an assigned territory.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Drive growth by building new customer relationships while maintaining existing ones within an assigned territory
Communicate with new prospective clients to identify and understand their business and security needs; identify and suggest solutions based on those needs
Design and present integrated security solutions to prospective and existing client base
Develop relationships with relevant industry partners
Identify new clients by researching and creating networking opportunities
Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Utilize CRM for sales activity and backlog reporting
Education / Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, or relevant field
A minimum 2 years of outside sales experience required
Excellent communication, organizational & interpersonal skills
Excellent sales & negotiation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software
Other Duties:
Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy
Performs other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to travel
