Job Description

Our client is seeking a Commercial Superintendent to oversee on-site construction activities for commercial projects. This role is responsible for day-to-day field leadership, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining schedules, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to quality standards. Ground-up commercial construction experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage daily jobsite operations for commercial construction projects
Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, and material deliveries
Enforce jobsite safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment
Monitor project schedules and proactively address delays or conflicts
Ensure construction work is completed per plans, specifications, and quality expectations
Conduct regular jobsite walks and inspections
Communicate effectively with Project Managers, subcontractors, and inspectors
Maintain daily reports, documentation, and field records
Support project closeout and punch list completion

Requirements

Approximately 5 years of commercial construction experience
Ground-up commercial project experience preferred
Experience with office building construction is a plus
Strong understanding of construction sequencing and field operations
Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and coordinate trades
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
