COMMUNICATIONS ASSISTANTPerdue Brandon Fielder Collins & Mott LLP, Attorneys at Law, is looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team as a Communications Assistant. The position will office in our Austin location. We are seeking a creative, organized and motivated Communications Assistant to support our Communication Department. In this role, you will support internal and external communication efforts, assist with marketing materials and provide administrative support to the communication team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in communication, public relations or marketing. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, creative, tech-savvy and capable of managing multiple projects under deadlines. Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with drafting and editing internal and external communications
Support content creation for marketing materials and campaigns
Help coordinate brand communications
Proofread and edit team materials for grammar and brand alignment
Assist with the creation of basic graphics, flyers and promotional assets
Conduct research to support communication strategies
Assist in preparing proposals, presentations and reports
Monitor online reviews and engagement
Track brand mentions and assist with response campaigns
Compile reports on communication and proposal performance
Organize content libraries, photo libraries and files
Vendor research and project quotes
Requirements & QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or related field.Experience: 0-2 years of experience in a professional office and/or internship.Writing Skills: Exceptional written communication skills with strong attention to detail and strong proofreading ability. Software: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Creative Suite (primarily InDesign). Familiarity with Responsive and Salesforce helpful but not required.Digital Tools: Familiarity with LinkedIn and email platforms such as Constant Contact.Design/Web: Creativity and basic knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress.Soft Skills: Strong organization and time-management skills and a collaborative team mindset.
