Communications Graphic Design Intern

Ergon Inc. seeks a Graphic Design Intern to join our team. The Graphic Design Intern will collaborate closely with our creative team on a variety of small to mid-scale design projects, gaining hands-on experience in real-world production layout and design. This role provides valuable exposure to how graphic assets are organized within a professional design system and offers experience supporting project setup and workflow using our project management tool. Interns will also have opportunities to contribute creatively by helping with conceptualizing new projects and assisting with brand advertising, presentation design, social media branding, and digital graphics. This is an immersive role designed to build practical skills, creative confidence, and a strong foundation in collaborative design work.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with production layout and design for small- to mid-scale projects
• Support organization of graphic assets within the team's design system
• Help set up projects and manage workflow tasks in Basecamp
• Contribute creative ideas during project concepting and brainstorming
• Assist in developing brand advertising materials
• Support presentation design and visual storytelling projects
• Create and adapt graphics for social media and digital platforms

Qualifications

• Must be at least a junior in college
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Preferred major: Graphic Design or related field
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

• Good communication and collaboration skills
