The Communications Manager plays a key role in executing Korean Women's Association (KWA) internal and external communications strategy. This role is responsible for developing compelling content, managing multi-channel communication efforts, and supporting organizational initiatives through clear and engaging messaging. The position partners across departments to ensure communications are timely and aligned.
Some Responsibilities
Develop, implement and maintain KWA public-relations and communication policies and procedures.
Provide direction and guidance to Department Directors regarding communication issues.
Manage internal and external communications, which include print, news releases, media, multi-media, public relations or other areas.
Oversee, develop and implement communications projects utilizing Web-based technology.
Content creation and storytelling.
Photography, Video, and Audio Production.
Qualifications
Layout and design experience, Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
Principles and practices of video production.
Experience in publication to social media platforms.
Principles and practices of public administration, organization and employee supervision.
Education
Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, graphic design or three years of related experience.
